Jack Manini is a cartoonist and comic book writer , born July 9, 1960 in Montargis in France .
He studied at the Fines-Arts in Paris.His first stories were published in newspapers Circus , Pilot, Zulu , Chic, etc. .
He creates for L'Echo des Savanes - Le Cobaye- in 1988 , "Je Swing" for Futuropolis in 1985 ( Collection X) and "Les Morts de Rire" in 1988.
"L'Archimage Robert" (Zenda) with Froideval scenario in 1991 , "Mycroft" (Soleil), 3 albums in 1996 , 97 and 98. Price Cori at Maisons-Lafitte Festival in 1999.
He scripted K.O with Latil , co- writer and Chevereau to the drawing in 2001 and 2003 . And for editions Magnard, he wrote screenplays for youth stories : "Maman Momie, Papa Vampire" ans "L'île Mont Trésor" , all in 2002.
In 2004 : "La théorie de l'oignon" and in 2005 "Les trois petits pompiers" .And it is the encounter with Raymond Maric and the creation of Estelle to editions Carabas, the first book "Dix Jours de Poisse" released in 2001 and the second "Le Pigeon de Montargis" in March 2003. The third "Les rendez-vous de l'Exposition" (issued 2004, prices of Scan in 2005); album more focused on direct color, will make you discover the Exposition universelle of 1900 which was held in Paris. The fourth book was published in January 2007.
For the young and especially old, Jack sketched out Snow White (Soleil) in 2004.
Also for youth, but in comics book , Jack has written the adventure of a little girl "Troidée" drawn by Buster Bone ...
And all latest : "Les Croquemagnons" ( two volumes , 2005).
Finally, thanks to their new series "La loi du Kanun" , Jack Manini (scenario and color ) and Michel Chevereau find themselves on a more realistic and taking project ! Published in April 2005 ( RTL price , April 2005) .
